Welcome to INFN Accelerators |
INFN Accelerators is led by a committee that is acting as a liaison between INFN's community of accelerator experts and its various institutes and laboratories. The accelerator committee facilitates communication with the Institute's governing bodies including the president, the board of directors.
The group is made up of various specialists with extensive experience in accelerators and accelerator technologies and it promotes the formation of thematically related networks among other accelerator experts on topics of considerable interest. The group allows a better identification of the moderators and performs as coordinating function between them.
The accelerator group aims to stimulate the harmonization of the Institute's skills and instrumental equipment in this sector and to encourage participation in calls at regional, national and international level, as well as to play as an advisory role, in the field of particle accelerators also in the strategic lines of the INFN in the sector.
