2025 International Workshop on Future Linear Colliders (LCWS2025)

The 2025 International Workshop on Future Linear Colliders (LCWS2025) continues the series devoted to studying the physics, detectors, and accelerator issues relating to high-energy linear electron-positron colliders.

The LCWS2025 workshop will happen near the end of the third European Strategy for Particle Physics Update process which aims to “to develop a visionary and concrete plan that greatly advances knowledge in fundamental physics (sic.)” . A linear electron-positron collider project will offer the opportunity for a timely, cost-effective and staged construction of a new collider that will be able to comprehensively map the Higgs boson’s properties, including the Higgs field potential, thanks to a large span in centre-of-mass energies and polarised beams.  It will also contribute to searching for new physics beyond the Standard Model with direct and indirect searches complementary to the HL-LHC.

With a wide program of plenary and parallel sessions, this workshop will provide an opportunity to present ongoing work and to get informed and involved in worldwide efforts devoted to lepton linear collider developments.

The workshop is scheduled from the afternoon of the 20th of October to the afternoon of the 24th of October, at Valencia (Spain) in two locations in the city’s heart. Monday morning and Friday afternoon are available for satellite meetings or events related to the workshop.

In-person attendance at the workshop is strongly encouraged.
